• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I thought the same when I saw the post.

He's got me on ignore, glad you asked the question. I'll look forward to his grown up response.
If my wife was about to give birth I would want to be as close to her as possible, complications or not. I am always a little bit surprised when I hear about sportsmen disappearing for tours when under such circumstances.

Absolutely.

I would question the moral compass of someone who doesn't put their family first.

These are tough life decisions. For someone going on a cricket tour, this might be their only crack at playing in India or Oz, so I understand why the discussion at home would take place. However if it was me, I’d be at home with the car keys in my hand and ready to go.

Well Sunday is probably the only time he'll have a crack at playing for Luke Williams!

Play for a crap team in a relegation scrap on your doorstep or one in a relegation scrap 4 hours away?

A bit weird he accepted personal terms here in the first place then, let’s not waste time and move on.

If he wanted to come here he would of regardless. It's just my opinion it's not the law and I respect your opinion that you think it's not lame.
No worries 🤜🤛

It’s a positive sign in terms of the player mentality in that he’s prepared to go out and fight to play first team football. He could have sat on his backside over the term of the pregnancy and picked up his healthy Forest wage. If he chooses us then I’m feeling a positive vibe.

I'm always relaxed about this sort of stuff. If it happens it happens. We've been wishing all sorts of gash say yes in the past (Baston, Hourihane come to mind immediately) and also dodged a few bullets, so if he comes he comes, if not, tough titty. No point in second guessing this stuff.

Officially completed.
3.5 hours left to see if we can turn Wright back around or secure an alternative
