• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

It's the one you were last a UK resident in, so in my case North Herefordshire.
Take no notice of these peasants Pego :ROFLMAO: we went to The Bell on Friday is was tidy I did see Glen it was very busy and he's got a load of youngsters waitressing, we both had Steaks.

We stayed at Kidwells house near station, stayed there before earlier in the year, this time the heat was unbearable hardly slept a wink all night, bugged the days fishing up yesterday though was just to knackered to go.

The A465 is fantastic I got to say, they have spoilt it between Brynmawr and Gilwern with the 50mph restriction but other than that it's brilliant, took me 20 mins to get into Hereford to travel just over 3.5 miles though.

Glad you enjoyed the Bell, I'll be in there in October.
Yes, the traffic getting into Hereford is horrendous, has been for donkey's years, due to them being the only large town/city on the borders which never built a bypass.

It's a tidy town plenty of people out and about yesterday, popped into the Orange Tree at the top of Bridge st tidy pub that.

I’ve just got absolutely pissed out of my brains today over this, I don’t know why, but it feels a last final conflict scenario . Really not happy with the USA, they are absolutely spoiling for a conflict.

Interesting ITV News reporting last week.....

Numerous countries in close geographical proximately (not threatened like Israel is) to Iran, are very worried by the prospect of Iran having nuclear capability.

BUT are also worried about the possibility of U.S/Israel escalation, regional instability and catastrophic circumstances that a (where have we heard that before?) "regime change" war may cause.

So the consensus of opinion amongst those closest to Iran, is they're not at all concerned about Iran having its nuclear capability being taken away, BUT leave it at that.

And as the ITV reporter within Iran mentioned i.e. Iran's regime may be very unpopular with its citizens, BUT in circumstances of an all out attack on Iran? Many are likely to rally behind their own government anyhow. Better the devil you know?

Do you remember someone who thought it wouldn't be fully open for the first home game of next season
😁
