• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

This needs to be said.

There’s a post this morning on the other site stating that Paul was being abused whilst he was gravely ill dying of cancer.

It’s completely not true.
I was in touch with Paul and his family right until the very end and being able to argue with people and tell people to fuck off kept him going for months and he certainly didn’t see it has abuse.
Speaking to his son and family after his death they never saw it as abuse either and remembered some nights he’d be laughing late into the night whilst arguing with people and telling them to fuck off.
The family even included the previous incarnation of Planetswans in Paul’s gofund page because they knew how much he was loved.

The bloke that posted this this morning is nothing but fucking scum.

Sleep tight Paul you prick.

I’ve also got loads of photos from Paul’s funeral on my iPad of the hearse and his grave etc but after speaking to Phil and another moderator in private at the time (June) it was decided not to post them.
