• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Been following the Swans since 1985, season ticket in all but four, whilst away in Uni, and I can honestly say for the first time I’m not too fussed on going to the games now. Some might question my loyalty, but I can hand on heart say, I’ve never felt like this, not even under the John Bond days of 85, the Alan Cork days or the petty era. I don’t know if it’s a mix of disinterested owners, the fact I’m getting old(49 this year), modern football in general or our manager, that’s having this negating effect.
It’s almost as if when you turn up, you know what you’re going to get served, and you know what the post match dissection will entail.
But low and behold, I’m feeling like this now, but come Weds v Blackpool I’ll more than likely be there!

You’re just getting old 😂. Sounds like me. Was going to go to Werder v Dortmund today but gave my ticket to my son‘s friend. Looking forward to Swans vs Boro in March mind.

Me and a few others stayed up with our mates who are Blades fans. We went back to Bracken Moor (Stocksbridge Park Steels stadium) as that’s one of their locals, and we talked for a good hour or so about the game, then the next thing I know, I’m buying my ticket for Wednesday night 😂 might I add, i had a nice win on the bets, so that made it a little easier to decide whether to go on Wednesday or not 😂 we’ll all get pissed off and say we’re losing interest, but something will always take us back.
