• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Surprised nothing on our official site and other SM outlets on this.
I think I saw that at this stage, it's all agreed in principle, but nothing officially signed as yet. Doubt that would happen until Modric has finished his season at RM.

What a strange few months.
Mid Feb, I thought we were next in line for the football league hydroslide.
It would now appear that we’ve got a group of dynamic young professionals running the club, an internal promotion as coach that looks inspired, Ronald actually winging, centre halves not having 78% possession and today’s mental news!
Viva life

Imagine - just for a minute, that his contract actually finishes at Madrid and he starts focussing on life but registers as a Swansea player just so the Fans could buy a Swans shirt with Modric on the back. That would be funny.
Personally, I have no idea what his investment is but the amount he has bought in to will give a better idea of his commitment.

If the club wants to make bank on merchandise, that would be one way to go about it.

Just seen this. What the actual fk?
How very bizarre.
Have I been on the shrooms?

i think jimmy was from bosnia
Aye, you may be right actually. Now you say that I have a memory of reading something that said he went from Bosnia into Croatia during the war. I only remembered the Croatian bit but we signed him from Mostar I think which is in Bosnia.

My mistake.
