Luke Throws Coleman Under The Bus?

If Williams' rather bizarre claim is to be taken seriously, then he must clarify and name the "some people" he refers to when blaming them for these deals falling through.

Perhaps sometime next week Coleman will speak out and give his take on proceedings?

Why would you assume they are bizarre claims? We know we had a bad window and it appeared we were scrabbling around at the last minute. We also know we had people nearly signed and then lost them. And none of this for the first time either.

I think he’s done us a favour shedding some light on the mess, much as Martin did. It won’t have done his relationship with Coleman any good, as it goes against Coleman’s spin.

If we were winning games or even in the top 10 then it wouldn't have been a thing.
We are not winning and down the bottom so everything is over thought.

It's what is football fans do best 😁

Andy Cole is in a right pickle these days.

- The record spending ownership group are the saviours.....

- Along with Grimes......

- Williams is absolute antichrist,

yet.....

The people responsible for selling Grimes late in the window and keeping Williams in post are.....

The record spending ownership group.

The mental gymnastics to try and avoid admitting and acknowledging these facts are fascinating to witness.

I await my 'whoosh'.

I'm not sure he's throwing his boss under the bus here. The only times he really mentions Coleman is when he says he (Coleman) hired people to do jobs and they didn't do it and then he talked about how hard he worked to try and fix things when it was clear the people he hired had failed him.

That he (Williams) was so clearly and pointedly throwing other people in the club under the bus, I can't imagine he hadn't talked with Coleman about what the talking points/narrative will be on this one. Coleman will likely sing from the same hymn sheet at the forum and there will probably be a couple of heads on spikes by then (and a new DOF announced) to go along with it to show how it wasn't him, it was those other guys over there, not me, the person running the whole show....mix in a bit of crocodile tears and that'll be that.
This is exactly how I interpreted it. If anything it was an ill fated attempt to defend the chairman.

Yeah you’ll be a meek sheeple or something. Enjoy. He’ll be along soon enough.
