• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

He had more line breaks moving from defensive midfield into the midfield proper and attacking midfield positions last night than he has most of the season combined. He played an excellent part in our attacking play even when it stuttered at the final hurdle (getting service into the box for Vipotnik) none of that was a fault of his own play.

Been a bit of a divide over him since he came, I personally think he is a decent player but last night I thought he was superb.
I just wanted to highlight him because he was my MOM last night.
Has been for a few weeks now

I thought he was going to be terrible. I was pleasantly surprised by how he started. There are signs he is returning to that form after a devastating month. Not just from not playing but from life changing loss. I think we have a good player.

If you went by last night only, you'd say Stamenic, Galbraith and Cabango are the players that you'd believe you could build a team around. We know that Tymon and Vigs also fall into that category based on previous performances although neither stood out last night.

You wouldn't put Vipotnik into that category based on his performances, but his goalscoring record this season means he probably also gets in unless you've got a slam dunk upgrade available.

Badly coached by Sheehan and O Dea. Was more restricted. Matos has given him a little bit of free range in his role. Basically he is playing the deeper Fulton role, but seems to fit well in the position. Rebuilding confidence after his dad. I really like him.

Matos seems to have very quickly realised what his best position is, and has simply played him there. Something I think Sheehan never got to grips with.

Surprise surprise he looks much better for it. Long may it continue.

After some shocking early displays he is coming along nicely. I just wish he was a bit quicker in possession. Pass or run. Takes that split second too long too often.
