• We have today (22nd April) confirmed the closure of JackArmy.net on 31st May. Our reasons are varied but after a twenty-five year stint at the heart of the online Swansea City community, the time is right for us to bow out.

Marks and Spencer's

Agreed. The point I’m trying to get across is although, online shopping has made a dent in footfall in all shops, there is still hope left for the city centre, that’s all people want is cheap/free parking or a great transport system.

It’s kind of crazy really, all these wannabe governments are all on about net zero and 15 min city’s, yet that’s all they have done is make everyone travel to all the out of town retail parks for everything, instead of having a decent transport system, that doesn’t cost the earth, and also get you near to the actual shops.

Indeed, they are making it up as they go along, clearly.Remember they make the rules, we kinda follow. Now when it suits they change the goal posts, you couldnt make this stuff up. Its laughable really it is.
I heard the other day that a raft of Beefeater restaurants are closing in the area, one in Morriston, one in Swansea, the other in Baglan, a sign of the times I guess.
