• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

And I’d defend your right to choose not to watch it. Some of the stuff around this is anachronistic, chauvinistic nonsense though.

I agree, I had to sit through hr and half of Strictly last night though

I'm sure you didn't have to. Leave the room and read a book or stay in it and put headphones on and listen to some decent music. You're a grown man who doesn't have to do anything you don't want to.

Don’t see the problem with Strictly myself. Good old fashioned Saturday night light entertainment.

Nothing moves me from my comfy chair not even Strictly and especially on a Saturday night, I only move to pour another beer or a toilet stop

I did keep one eye on it, but that's between you and me, so don't tell anyone  :D

He does what he’s told.

I had the misfortune of catching 10 minutes of Masked Dancer, i think it was called. Bloody Nora! That's the last time I stray away from the streaming channels on a Saturday evening

I read somewhere tonight that women boxing is “a revolting spectacle”.

A man said that of course.

I've no desire to watch women box, its just not for me, but I'd defend their right to box though.

I watched two scantily clad ladies wrestling, covered in jelly, in a little blow up pool at the Tower Ballrooms in Blackpool a few years back after a Swans away weekend, it was brutal, but strangely hypnotic in equal measures, it ended in a draw if my memory serves me right 🤔
And yes, I defend thier right to wrestle and earn a few bob also...

I’m still chuckling at Max defending a women’s right to do whatever the hell she likes. That’s nice of you, I’m sure the “ladies” will appreciate your support in allowing them to do stuff.

That's a compliment coming from you, did someone write that for you

Most of those women boxers would batter the pub idiot who thinks he's can do it all.
The pub idiot is always male as well.

Can't believe you took time out from a serious slurping weekend, you're worse than Prosser who stays in his room posting nonsense on here.
