• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

"Steven didn't have anything to do in the second half".

Errrr....yes he did. To come and cut out a high looping cross, or save the resulting soft header, both of which he failed to do.

FFS.

Even during that "best" first half we were gifted a goal but otherwise their goalkeeper didn't make a save of note.

If that's our best we're in deep trouble.

We had one shot on target in the first half, which was not only gifted to us by them but was also our only shot at goal, and that's supposed to be our best first half showing ?

To coin a popular saying, Jesus wept.

We did play pretty well in the first half, but we didn't actually force their keeper into a save at all, apart from the absolute gift they gave us, and another ref would have given them a penalty for the challenge from Fulton just before half time, so it was hardly scintillating stuff, even though it was at least better than Birmingham/Coventry/Reading. Second half was just utter rubbish.
