• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Part of me wants Martin to happen because the meltdown here would (rightly) be unreal. :ROFLMAO:

It would all be ‘interesting’. I’d prefer him to go to Scumbo when they sack Brian Murphy because they’re not promoted by Christmas.

Apparantly Lidls in Swansea,Norwich,Middlesborough and Southampton have sold out

The owners have got an awful things correct off the pitch recently. If they reappoint this cock they’ll have a riot on their hands.

The appoint of Sheehan was to take us away from this tippy tappy bore the life out of you football.

I sincerely hope they understand the serous ill feeling towards this man from 99% of the fanbase.

I can just imagine the first home game with about 27 people in attendance and some old fella at the front with a “Russell can I have your jumper” cardboard sign.

At the moment, only one bookie is running a market. Martin is the fav but as I say, it's just one bookie. So I wouldn't get too het up, not yet anyway.

Time to worry is when the others re-open the book on it and he's still towards the top.

I’d be shocked if they go for Martin. For two reasons:

1. He doesn’t suit our current squad options, can you really see Vigs, Burge and Cabango playing it around a high press? Gorringe will need to take that into account.

2. Sheehan turned out to be a bad appointment, they won’t want even a divisive one next if they can help it.

My guess is, it won’t be anyone we’re familiar with.

I've gone cold. Just checked his odds. He's favourite at even money.
My only hope now is that the bookies generally get it wrong.
I only put 50p on him for a Larff I hope that's what they are basing it on.
