• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Martin - please god, NO!!

I completely take it back if there is anything to all this speculation.

I simply cannot comprehend the idea that this could happen. Surely it’s bs.

Someone who has been successful coming back is one thing someone who has failed and such a divisive a figure is another.

If we get this very wrong be it Martin or another then we deserve L1.

It stuns me that some of our fans are gushing over him on Twitter. It's really like a cult.
He’s mesmerised clubs into appointing him as manager so it’s no surprise that he could mesmerise some f*ckwits in our fanbase.

At the moment, only one bookie is running a market. Martin is the fav but as I say, it's just one bookie. So I wouldn't get too het up, not yet anyway.

Time to worry is when the others re-open the book on it and he's still towards the top.
Update on this:

Oddschecker (who were featuring the one bookie still running a market) have now taken their page down.

Which either means the bookies know something we don't about a very imminent announcement...or they really haven't got a scooby, and they're not willing to take any more punts until they've got a handle on the market again.

Either way, it is all very uncertain.
