I guess I am in the minority that are still want him to succeed. I like the fella, I want him to do well. However he's on borrowed time. Come on Mr Martin, sort it out FFS

Not sure about that, Fathy. We all want him to succeed, whether we believe he can is another topic altogether.

Anxiety at home. Bollocks. Sorry Rus. Own it.

They had far more support vocally than they deserved today, it was only after the second goal went in did it resemble a morgue. They gave us absolutely nothing to cheer about all afternoon. A gutless , clueless , totally shocking display today.

Not worded correctly on my part. Apologies.

He's too worried about the fans reactions. Stating that he was shouted at for taking Joe Allen off. Who cares? If he's the manager be strong enough to stand by your decision and not comment on what you hear from the stands. They aren't in charge. YOU ARE.

And also he's beyond deluded if he thinks there were waves and waves of attack for us at any point in that game. He's lost it and that press conference confirms it

When he says "I'm the only one who speaks to you" it speaks of a very disjointed club and one he doesn't particularly want to be at. His demeanour is terrible and it sounds like he's desperate to get out IMO

He also let slip what we've known all along. That the owners want the club to 'create assets' to sustain the club

Blood Sucking Corporate Scum  I hate those cunts with every fibre of my being

It’s utterly obvious. Both potter and cooper jumped ship having dealt with the owners for some time. If they had fronted up some funds for cooper to get a decent striker we’d probably have gone up and their investment would have grown enormously. This is the issue that riles me the most, they are running the show in a frugal business manner, but they’re crap at it. They undervalue our assets and bend over when a ‘bigger’ club comes calling and are that incompetent they can’t recognise an opportunity to grow and progress when one’s staring them in the face. Honestly I think they’re thick as s**t!

He said something before the game along the lines of " I wasn't the owners first choice".......make of that what you will!!!!

Please don’t boo me or the players, direct your frustration at the owners… Yes, the same owners who bought me/signed Ogbeta, Fisher, Wood, Darling, Allen, Downes, and Obafemi. But they’re absolutely not backing me in the transfer window.

Jesus wept.

I’m the first to moan at lack of investment but come on, it just isn’t stacking up here.

I think at this stage it’s fairly obvious that Russell has bad decision making. If we are so skint, why waste money on Fisher and Wood when you had Hamer on lower wages, and Brandon Cooper ready to step up?

Silverstein’s end of season statement last year said we are going to be running a model where we create young assets and sell them for a profit. This is no surprise.

Russell’s job is to create assets yet he has frozen out Whittaker, Garrick, Brandon Cooper, Joseph, Ogbeta and others. Last season it was Dhanda, who may have been weak as piss but could have offered something. These players could have been bit part players in his master plan and he could have put them in the shop window to raise funds - he decided not to.

Oh and other sad indictment of his poor decision making: thanks to his “honest” presser he’s just invited any team interested in Piroe to come in with a lowball bid because we are desperate. Thanks pal!

As for tactics - I could sit here all day. But the fundamental point is that HE is responsible for on field performances.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it’s not the Yanks on the training ground drilling these players, it’s Martin. He needs to get real and stop persisting with a wingback system that doesn’t work, and this total football nonsense because all it takes is a high press to destroy it.

Rant over, and good morning all!
