Julian Winter is a strange character ain’t he, seemed very twitchy and blunt with awkward laughs in between

Jeez its worse actually hearing it than reading it
Reporters are disgraceful, how incredibly negative!

Strange how they didn't ask 'searching' questions before

It's not even searching questions, its just all doom and gloom
Why didnt you keep Ayew, has the team lost momentum, why did Cooper and Eustace reject the job before you
No excitement, I think Martin handled them really well but was probably thinking the reporters are thicker than 2 planks of wood our way

Agree but when did they put people on the spot over the last couple of years.

Was interesting questioning
Dont get asking him about Eustace and Cooper

You can always rely on the press contacts in this part of the world to ask the most stupid questions and never actually as the pertinent ones.

Or ever.

Remember the Evening Post and Western Mail (as was) both welcoming Petty and buying his sh*t when it was clear nobody else was

Choose your battles :D

You're probably right - think we have all long since established that our local reporters will ask nothing pertinent or searching of anything to do with the football club
