• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Should erectile dysfunction be ignored once you get past 50? I am mid 50's but I would not have a problem talking about it, it certainly does somewhat degrade your life when it happens. But what can you do? :)

Go and see your GP. As you saw in Men Up, erectile disfunction can be caused by quite a few medical problems - diabetes, etc

If the GP says your blood tests are Ok, then do as Neath_Jack advised - Go to a chemist online or face to face and try a pack of tablets.

There's plenty out there.

Good luck. 🍆

The meds I'm on obliterate my sex drive. Its not that I cant, I just dont want too. Came off them for a period a while back and within two weeks I would've fucked anything - pulse not necessary

The missus struggles with it but Ive talked to the psychiatrist and he's not interested. It's an accepted side effect. It is what it is and it's better than the alternative

Aye, but what you share is probably something that is also an issue for one or two others and they then know that they are not alone. keep being yourself and don't worry.

Thanks Darran for that image, now we'll all need to visit a chemist if we ever want an erection again...

You did put a lovely picture of your ring on the “piercings” thread.

Brave of you to post that on here.

Get on Superdrug and order yourself some viagra or other similar tablets, all is not lost butt.

Thank you Nj, but I won't take any pats on the back for that, IMO it's not really brave posting anonymously, I know it would be a harder conversation speaking in real life about it, for me the brave ones are the ones who seek medical help for it, not just brushing it under the carpet, like I have done, and also do for any other ailment.

Be brave with these things, it could save your life.

Coops. I will never change, I really wish i could, a doctors appointment is well
overdue, I am really Mr scaredy cat, when it comes to doctors.

You are far from alone here, far from it. People will find all sorts of reasons for not going to the doctors, whether it be fear, embarrassment, ignorance, etc.

Try and look at it another way and put yourself in the position of a loved one, who receives bad news about you because you put something off. With hindsight you will feel even more downbeat.

There is definitely help out there, but you’ve got to try and make the first step.

A guy on my street got a PSA test that showed dodgy levels, so has been up and down the road badgering all the neighbours like an enlarged-prostate evangelist.

It's in my mind to get a blood test done once the January rush to doctors surgeries has died down, though the PSA test gives a significant percentage of both false positives and false negatives so I'll worry whatever the outcome.

And if you don't mind me saying this, Jack123, there's two kinds of doctors appointment. The one where you get to him in time. And then there's the other one. Choose wisely. If nothing else it's less of a burden on the NHS to treat someone with mild symptoms than one with severe symptoms. And the NHS needs all the help it can muster.
