• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

My daughter was up there for the weekend. Her and partner stayed in a tent in the 'quiet' campsite, which was a 45 minute walk to the main stage, cost em 400 notes each, and for that you got fvck all.😲They enjoyed though, bloody boiling up there mind.🌞

They were absolutely brilliant both sets last week, though Bring Me The Horizon absolutely stepped up and made that headline slot their own.

Notched up 40 miles walking in 5 days, weather was in the 30s first time I’ve had a fully dry Download.

Thought the 2nd set was a better performance all round, that said perhaps the sun got a bit too much for me on the Thursday, that and the 10 cans of Thatchers... It was the busiest of the 9 Download's i've been to and waking between the stages was a pain in the @rse, so whilst I covered 25 miles over 4 days, I didn't cover the mileage you did. Good Effort that!

Going to see Metallica next year when the play Edmonton AB.

The last band I went to see was the first band on at Download, The Warning
