Out injured after 3 weeks off or downing tools again?...

Ireland' friendly match away in Malta before the World Cup break ...

"The striker was initially named on the bench for the second friendly away in Malta on Sunday but was not included in the final squad."

Also absolutely no mention of Obafemi in the team news for Norwich...

Swansea City show three changes for the resumption of Championship action against Norwich City at the Swansea.com Stadium.

Kyle Naughton, Jamie Paterson and Luke Cundle all come into the starting line-up in the trio of alterations from the draw at Huddersfield a month ago.

Harry Darling, Ollie Cooper and Olivier Ntcham are the players to drop to the bench.

Ben Cabango retains his place and is the sole member of Swansea’s World Cup contingent to start, with Joe Allen among the substitutes as he is named in a matchday squad for the first time since the win over Hull.

Steven Benda continues in goal, with Nathan Wood joining Naughton and Cabango in the Swansea defence.

Joel Latibeaudiere and Ryan Manning are the wing-backs with skipper Matt Grimes and Jay Fulton continuing their midfield partnership.

Paterson and Cundle provide support to Joel Piroe in attack.

Swansea City: Steven Benda; Nathan Wood, Kyle Naughton, Ben Cabango; Joel Latibeaudiere, Jay Fulton, Matt Grimes (captain), Ryan Manning; Jamie Paterson, Luke Cundle; Joel Piroe.

Substitutes: Andy Fisher, Harry Darling, Joe Allen, Olivier Ntcham, Liam Cullen, Armstrong Oko-Flex, Ollie Cooper.

Norwich City: Angus Gunn, Max Aarons, Grant Hanley (captain), Ben Gibson, Isaac Hayden, Sam McCallum, Gabriel Sara, Danel Sinani, Teemu Pukki, Kenny McLean, Josh Sargent.

Substitutes: Tim Krul, Andrew Omabamidele, Kieran Dowell, Adam Idah, Onel Hernandez, Dimitrios Giannoulis, Liam Gibbs.

Deleted everything off his social media for like the 4th time since he's been here... shame if its his attitude letting him down as he has massive potential. Just hope we dont get screwed on the fee we want for him

Hard to work out what he's worth at the moment.
Not playing,hardly scored this season.
What would we expect our club to pay for that type of player?
Let's hope it's not a strop.

Well I don't think it was an injury why he was left out Saturday.

This one is on Martin. Fact. Shocking man-management from the off.

Oba wants away from Martin, pronto. As does Piroe. As has been the case for quite some time.

We can thank our lucky stars that both our top strikers have had proper familial support to pull them through Martin's irrational rejection.

Remember - Martin sacked off Piroe from the very off - stripped him of the #9 jersey, said he was neither good enough or intelligent enough to 'get' Martin's system/process/Wang. Martin effectively then did the same to Oba.

Both top strikers massively disgruntled by shockingly poor, inept, immature man-management by mid-table mediocre Martin.

There's no wonder we have a mis-firing Strike force. Inept man-management. Strikers down tools. How very apt.

If I were a Swansea City striker I'd be disgruntled too. The build up is always so slow when a striker gets the ball he's always surrounded by defenders.

So, Piroe decided to be brilliant last season to spite Martin, now has downed tools and been crap this season after he made his point?

I'm no Martin defender, but that's just nonsense.

Piroe like we all know needs a decent service, it needs Pato to get his form back or play Ollie Coops in the 10 role regularly to form a partnership with Piroe same applies to Oba he needs the support of a competent 10 that plays regular to put him into those threatening position's.

We don't need Levien and his butty Silver dollar blowing smoke up Martins arse they need to be kicking his arse to sort his shit out, not have us playing the stagnant football we play now.

Dont talk nonsense.......players hit form, some struggle with concistency and some have hissy fits.

Its Childish to put all the blame or even the majority on the manager without knowing the full story or even part of it.

Piroe has been dogshit all season. Nothing to with Martin. Obafemi is a problem player and nowhere near as good as he thinks he is. I think he HAS been mismanaged by Martin. Well likely never know. One thing Inam convinced of, our team is mismanaged by Martin.

So the plot thickens

Not picket up by WOL, no update on Obafemi's "injury" on the official site, but a direct quote from Russ on CoventryLive

An injury picket up on international duty then

Fuk off Russ aye

'Not picket' - that's uber clever, Jaxsy. Fair play. A Striker on Strike.

Not picked last time when, by all accounts: 'you need to run more'. Martin actually told Oba that he needs to run more - to a player that runs more than any other player that runs his socks off.

That was it. That was all the feedback/rationale Oba was given by Martin, our Mis-Managing Mediocre manager when he unceremoniously dropped him. Just like he did with Piroe.

As mentioned previously on here (on a matchday thread): - something's afoot, something's been brewing, top down/bottom-up disgruntlement............mark these words.

Facts is facts.
