• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Undoubtedly the most talented player I have ever seen in a Swans shirt in 56 years of supporting the club.

Now that I'm living in the country and have picked up a bit of the lingo, once all this covid shyte has died down, I intend to take a tour up to the northern part of Spain. I plan to drop him a line and ask him if I can call in to see him, maybe get a shirt autographed or something, and get a photo together. That would be fab, and one in the eye for Darran!

Only joking, Daz.

That would be a great road trip from down your way.

As we're talking the QPR game I always like to revisit this from time to time.

As far as Michu goes, he always had ankle problems. Even before he joined us. Was only ever going to be a matter of time before it packed in on him. Just count ourselves lucky to have been present for his last hurrah.

 An all time classic

Trundle was always, and quite rightly , mentioned as one of best forwards about in his certain era , but as a Premier League player Michu was a joy to watch .

Landrup had a good vision for our football then and Michu was a major part his idea going forward , alas the wheels feel off later .

Expert Analyst: "Swansea haven't really bought anything to replace what's gone out."
Michu: "Hold my beer."
