• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

So in effect the investment of that first £16m happened when they created the CLNs and Silverstein joined the board, and it didn't matter if/when it was converted to equity? I thought there was concern at the time that a conversion wouldn't happen given a lack of timetable or guarantees, and it didn't count as actual investment into the club?

Silverstein wasn’t an owner though. So it mattered first time for his £5m or whatever it was. Once he joined the majority owner group it didn’t really matter other than to the minority shareholders which is why the Trust cared.

When Silverstein lent the money originally the club owed it back and he didn’t have shares hence regarding him as an ‘investor’ wasn’t very accurate.

I believe there was a companies house update relating to the club this week.

I think it confirms that of the mooted new 'investors / investment' from earlier this year that only Morris has put money directly into the football club.

No sign of the promised update from Coleman or the trust on the matter yet.

More financial shenanigans by the Yanky Doodles, who'd ave thought it.

If only we had a Supporters Trust that weren't just a club mouthpiece/ puppet.
If only we had a Trust with a backbone, that were determined to do the best by the club and follow the fans mandate.
Not this present one.
Sold the fans and club down the river, by not being willing or able to protect the Trust interest.
Truthfully, we ever end up in a "Petty" type situation again, this current trust are to blame.
First time for me not being a member and don't see me ever re joining. Certainly never (a word I only use when I mean it) with this shower of backstabbing/ in it for the day out in directors box, non Swansea City fans

Thank you to all who try and help explain our financial situation in words I think we all understand
