It’s shocking but not surprising. This kind of discourse is now accepted and encouraged. It’s become the mainstream and has been enabled and encouraged by influential politicians since 2016. You only have to look at certain corners of the internet to see how this is now encouraged in the name of “debate” and “free speech”. Anyone who dissents is roundly mocked and labelled a snowflake or some other such lame pejorative.
