• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

So the sum total of people 'taking the piss' out of Nathan on this thread amounts to:

- Itchy expressing surprise that England U21's have called him up. Seems fair, he's not played for them before and is part of one of the statistically worst defences in the Championship.

- A4Jack asking if he'll bring his two left feet, while also wishing him good luck and saying he's just had a great game, his best for us.

- FelindreJack expressing his surprise at the call-up and that people on Facebook are saying it's well deserved. In a later post, FJ gave the opinion he's been gash all season, but had a decent game on the weekend and wished him luck.

- Nocountryforoldjack made a tongue in cheek post about how good he is.

There's also plenty of other posts congratulating him and praising him. Not exactly the ruthless piss taking of one of our players that some are trying to paint it as, is it?

Am I not allowed to be surprised that someone who’s constantly been poor all season has been called up to one of the best U-21 international sides in the world? 😂 I’ll wish him luck because he’s a Swansea player but come on, surely you can’t believe his performances have warranted an England call up!

There’s some more than decent talent in that squad and having Wood alongside them can only do the lad some good.
