New manager assistants

It's all a bit strange. Let's hope it gets sorted ASAP as it seems Briton and Allen brings nothing on the short evidence. Didn't see them even get up of there seat on weekend. That aside, Matos needs support and with those who know him and can support him best. Would Matos know this would happen. Unlikely, who asks there work colleagues if they have renewed there passports? OK this is different but still. Seems the club just wanted to get Matos in and maybe they thought no issues was gonna happen. Who knows. Let's hope its sorted by the weekend. And we can get some results.

There are people on here that won’t admit it but this is already an unmitigated disaster, twelve games in the Portuguese second division…incredible!!

It may very well turn out to be a disaster, then again it may turn out to be a stoke pf genius.

Either way we have no other option than to throw our full support the new manager.

With no back up and somehow he needs to turn our form around.

It’s very serious.
Not much surprises me in football anymore and as far as the Swans go i thought I’d seen it all but this is on another level.

We even haven’t had the usual new manager bounce, three games, eight conceded, three goals scored and a two goal lead thrown away…I’d say it’s a bit more than very serious…farcical and embarrassing is how I’d describe it.

We have had a new manager bounce. Only lost the last 2 games by a single goal, prior to that we lost the 2 previous games by 3 goals each. Progress eh? 😆

The silence from the club regards this situation is quite uneasy, I know they don't need to say anything until it's done.
The only update we had was via Matos! It would be nice for someone higher up to come out and give an update even if it's not a good one.

Agreed. I'm not sure what agenda or thrill certain people on this forum is getting. I have seen a few now saying I told you so. We get it. You flipped a coin and it's landed on your side for a while. But why are people banging on about this. Yes I feel down and gutted and feel little hope. But I want this to be turned around.

That's the thing. '' they don't need to say anything until it's done.'' sadly the communication of any nature is lacking with this club for a while now. They seem to only ever want to highlight the positives and not any negatives. Anyway putting that aside. We will either get some form of announcement by the weekend or if not I can see this going on for another week or 2.

It’s an insane gamble with the club’s future and a very, very long shot gamble at that.
Even if he turns out to be a combination of Ferguson, Wenger and Klopp it’s still an insane gamble at this point.

Ignore the noise, some are on here just to troll the others just cashing in on their benefit of hindsight.

Point taken.

I've actually really liked these owners so far, all I'm saying is if it turns out they have cocked this up then I won't defend it. As you say though, let's wait and see 👍🏻
What is needed here - and I thought we had made progress in this area - is transparent communications.
Fans need to be told what the delay is - what the likely outcome is - and what the plan B is.
Poison spreads on sites ike this in the absence of clarity.

Hmm in an ideal world yes it would be good to get an official club comment on it, but it might end up being so generic to the point of being pointless. Plus, if say the issue is work permits, if that officially announced, and they dont end up getting them, any potential plan b's wage demands will increase (that may happen anyway but at least it could be passed off that we couldn't agree personal terms etc and not that they definitely cannot come).
