I don’t know who it is and I don’t know when it’ll be announced but we will have a new manager and it will eventually be announced.

F*cking hell.

It might be by 5pm tomorrow but if not Tate is in charge and we are covering all bases so it may be Eustace and probably is but we're hedging our bets in case something goes wrong so we can say that we knew the chairman was in talks all the time with a number of candidates.

Oh and even though Cooper was practically dispensed with two weeks ago the South American loan signing is off but it was on seven days ago when Cooper was here even though he was always going.

Covering all bases, Wales Online copy their stories mun and had no clue that Cooper was off until they read it on there

If they're announcing it tomorrow, then it's all done and there is only 1 'candidate' in the frame. If they were still considering 4 people then they wouldn't be ready to announce anything yet!

If you're not in the know on a particular subject (I know Keith has had plenty right in the past), then you're better off not saying anything at all than posting a weak take like that.

If we all said nothing about subjects we knew nothing about this forum would be dead. Where the fun in that?

Fair point, but there's a difference in posting our opinions and posting something as 'in the know'.

Phil made it clear how conflicted he was on posting the news about Cooper going, yet he took the risk of trusting his source and was rewarded (this time) for doing so. Posting that a club will announce the new manager the next day while also claiming 4 people are still being considered is trying to look informed while not posting too much that can make you look stupid if it turns out to be wrong. It's as ultimately meaningless as me posting that the Swans will play Bristol Rovers tomorrow and the result will either be a win, draw or loss.

Tate taking charge of tomorrow's friendly is on a par with Cullis at Blackpool, just tell Tate to go put the cones out as usual and let Curt step in again for "a one off"

Ah yes but we bring you all the news first. Eustace was given permission last week and might be coming in with a foreign individual and Scott stepping up even though he's already heavily involved.

The other four candidates are still in the running mind I'm keeping my cards closer to my chest because that pesky Vincent and Wales Online are waiting for my reveal
