A good man, give him the job until the end of the season then get the right man in and back him financially. And no I don’t have the answer to who that should be. But there must be someone out there with the right financial package to be tempted to come. We are not a poxy club with backing and the feel good factor back there’s no reason we can’t be prem again in a few years.

The "give me the job or I walk" rumours going around will see Sheehan's bargaining position significantly weaker now than it was a week ago. The teams he lost against are not a problem, but the hugely uninspiring performances that comprised those performances will be.

While I missed the Watford game I turned off the Burnley game after 75 minutes.
The final straw for me was using the final sub to bring on Christie for Naughton when we desperately needed attacking quality up top. Especially after taking off Franco for Fulton and Eom for Cooper after 53 minutes.

All true but we don't have any attacking quality up top Bianchini is a pointless substitution that is made most weeks and bringing on Ginelly is just as bad cos there is nobody to cross to that can put it away.

Can't really read anything in to today. I'm no Sheehan fan but no manager in world football could have done any better today with our squad against them today.

Sheehans comments though do suggest to me he's lost the appetite for this. And if he has, fair enough.

Hope not, I've seen enough in his 5 games so far. There has been 3 very uninspiring performances against Preston , Watford and yesterdays dross against Burnley to know that he's not the answer.
