New Manager

Onto the news regards Sheehan.

I think it was obvious this would happen in reality and probably the best thing under the circumstances we find ourselves in.

No decent manager would touch us in the position we find ourselves in. Wait until the end of the season and make sure we stay in this league.....new manager can then start with a clean slate and hopefully sort the shiite out a little.

Everyone probably agreed with him staying until the end of the season. I know I said so a few weeks ago. But let’s not pretend this is anything other than it going horribly wrong. Because if it was an actual decision it wouldn’t have gone the way it has.

I don't believe that either.

Steady pair of hands to get us over the line and reassess the situation in the Summer when there's more chance of the right candidate being available.

If that was the plan, I just wish they'd just gone with that at the time rather than waiting a month.

I do think that if - IF - Sheehan accepts this offer, I think it's highly likely he stays permanent into next season. I think only relegation or desperately scraping home by a point or two would see him gone. If he plays a straight bat and we come home 6-10 points clear, I don't think they'll try hard to look for anyone else*

*mainly as my esteem for those running the club is at an all-time low, which is harsh on those who've only been there 5 minutes, but until they prove me wrong with their actions, I'll consider them lacking ambition.

It certainly has potential to go horribly wrong.

I got bigger fears today than I did yesterday but that will be me being dramatic rather than actually caring......so I will be told.

That's it, I don't think there was or is a plan.

I feel that we are only going to get things done by luck rather than solid planning and a structure.

Its what I had expected to happen back when Williams was given the boot.

We all knew that there was a very rough run of 4 or 5 games against top sides coming up, we got a win and a draw from two of those and lost the other two. The last of those rough games is next weekend away to Leeds.

After that our run in is more favourable compared to many of the other sides at the bottom.

Talking to people in the know in the press room on the weekend, supposedly Ken Gude had revealed that the club have a long term option they’re working todays who would take over at the end of the season… but they’re also prepared with a short term option of things don’t go to plan with Sheehan … but they’re definitely looking towards the long term.
For those that can't be arsed to pay attention to the proper ITKs - here's Magic-Man's magic....

The Club have a proper long-term solution lined up, with options for short-medium term.

Quell surprise

And the short term option they've opted for is.....

Sheehan?

That might be the case but I'm always happy to put out what I hear.
I won't hold back on that wether it ends up wrong.

But that's not the point I was making.
