• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Martin isn’t going anywhere.

Does anyone really think that the owners will sack Martin and pay him and his staff off and then spend money on a replacement manager?

Fantasy Island.

Aye, and I’d like Pep Guardiola but that’s also not going to happen. Let’s have a name from you (and Roger) where the desire to work at the helm of SCFC is mutual.

No real names from me as I would rather see Martin succeed.
Still raw from yesterday, but ( next Saturday) aside, looking positively towards the new season.
It's what we all do ...

Re Martin, I take the same view. He’s got one big window coming up and if we’re not seeing results by November then he needs the boot.

I didn’t go yesterday, did you and how was #NFFC?

In my opinion, should have seen more of Bennett, Fulton.

Misjudged Piroe and Obfemi because in my opinion they were not his signings.

Tried to shoehorn players eg Cabango.

Shown up by 8 managers in this league.

Rediscovered Naughton which is really good to see.

Some sensational results such as demolishing CCFC.

Reverted to 4 at the back and made good signing in Wolfe, Christies and Downes. Decent unbeaten run.

Next season he is going to sign giants and bed them in early doors.

Yes I was there.
Good day out and atmosphere was terrific.
Good fans Forest have as well.
Obviously gutted, but I was hoping for a better closer game of football

If ( and it's not what I want atm ) Martin went, then Dyche would be a good shout

Cameron Toshack, why not give him a go...

Come on, let’s have your serious proposal.

If ( and it's not what I want atm ) Martin went, then Dyche would be a good shout

I would love Dyche but he’s a level above what we can attract right now.

We should be looking at managers in Holland, Portugal and Spain if it’s the possession game our owners want. Not these wannabe Pep’s like Russell.

So you haven’t actually got any named proposals then, just a generic statement naming countries where you think everyone plays like the Ajax of the 1970’s?

I'm not advocating getting rid of Martin but as people are asking for names I think Nuno is still unemployed. Did a fantastic job at Wolves at this level.

That’s another name beyond our pay grade.

Probably, but he's been unemployed for a while and may have realistic aspirations 😁

A couple of pre-season friendlies in the Algarve would be nice too 👍

Nuno Espirito Santo and Sean "paid £15,000,000 to sack him" Dyche. Good to see our fans are as realistic as ever.

Why on earth would anyone want them to, at this stage?

And to replace with...oh, I've just seen. Hilarious.

The last 10 years has shown us that the Buy, Sell & Rebuild cycle has progressively worsened our League positions.

We are unlikely to finish in the top half this season.

In the highly unlikely event of us attracting Dyche here, I'll say here and now I'll never go and watch us until he's gone, I really can't stand the prick.
