Are people happy to watch the same next season?

This style just isn't working and he's not going to change it. It'll be garbage ad finiteum

Perhaps Mr Martin will get some players more able to play his system?

It's the system that's the problem fella so unless Mr Martin signs a handful of man City players it's going to be a repeat of this seasons gash.

I can see what he's trying to do, we all can, but it's like we can do the keep possession thing but not the create chances thing, which is the more difficult bit. Without that, we're going nowhere.

Can he sign a few players who can do the difficult bit, will he be allowed to? Who knows. At the moment it's just incredibly frustrating to watch. We need to mix it up more, sling the odd cross in like Smith did in the first half. We're too predictable.

Total football. As exemplified by Barcelona 5 or 10 years ago, and more latterly Man City.
We're like the Poundshop version, except we're not even that good. The charity shop version.

We just can't carry on like this . For nearly 2000 fans to make the arduous journey to Blackpool to see 1 shot on target in the latter stages of the match is simply appalling. I don't believe for 1 minute that our players are that bad we can only muster that meagre statistic in 90 mins. If like today we have over 70 per cent possession and hit the target once in 90 mins then there is something very very wrong with our approach to the game.

I have serious concerns about next season. I'm not sure of he needs a season scenario. I'm not sure of believing in the process because it should have taken some sort of shape by March. Or am expecting too much? I want results and some enjoyment watching my team. 35 games 38 goals more tonkins in a season than I care to remember.

We are only heading one way next season under this guy and his process... Process? We are going backwards at a canter. Let's face it, unless the owners start spending millions on players of a quality to play the system then it's never going to get off the ground.

We're among a number of clubs whose seasons have been saved or at the very least helped by points deductions to others. Not likely to happen next season.

I posted about this earlier, but if there were no point deductions this season, the massive difference would be that we'd move from 16th to 17th, 1 point behind Derby with 2 games in hand.

We're 19 points ahead of the relegation places and I'll give you one guess how far away we'd be if there were no point deductions.

Things don't look good, but this narrative about point deductions making a difference to our season is just wrong.

For me I think we're in a position where next season it will go one way or the other very quickly. We will either get the right players in and we'll click, or we will be stufck just above the relegation zone.

We've all seen what this system can do to teams when it comes off; but we haven't got the players to do that consistently.

We need wingbacks (both sides) that are dangerous going forward, whilst also able to do that other defending bit.

We need someone to keep Smith on the bench so he only comes on to hound players when we're protecting a lead.

And we need to get rid of Grimes. We absolutely need to get rid of Grimes.

Unfortunately I can't see us doing the last bit, which is why I'm less hopeful for next season at this point.

I don't mean we'd be in the relegation places but for a fair chunk of the season, probably up until the recent wins over Bristol City, West Brom & Coventry which changed things, it took a bit of the pressure off at a relatively early stage in the season and reduced the need to actually win games while we made the inevitable changes so we didn't become too panicky which might have made results even worse.
