If you have NOW TV/Sky Sports, you can watch a game every Sunday night. Im not sure if there is a highlights show on normal TV any more, but you can watch stuff on YouTube. All you need to know at the beginning is that a team has 4 chances to gain 10 yards (and score in the endzone) or they lose possession to the opposition. The depth of the game comes in between that
