As we’ve seen the British public forgets easily. Especially Tory voters who act purely out of self interest and bigotry. If there’s an opportunity to unseat Johnson, Labour has to seize it. Sadly the only people who have that kind of power in our fetid system are members of the governing party.
He’s their biggest asset and their biggest liability. A large proportion of the public fell for his charm and PR persona and he romped home in the GE, Starmer and his crew need to keep the pressure on him and let the Conservatives do the rest. Cameron was in the news the other day and was commenting on the stuff Boris was getting away with, Labour have to drive home the sleaze and party stuff, the opinion polls and electorate bending the ears of the Conservative MP’s will do the rest.
I don’t think we’ve seen the last of these leaks.
I suspect the next big sleazefest may well be the Covid PPE contracts to the chums.
I don’t agree with that romping home in the last GE because of his charm and persona.
Most of it was down to Brexit and that cuñt Corbyn.
