He’s their biggest asset and their biggest liability. A large proportion of the public fell for his charm and PR persona and he romped home in the GE, Starmer and his crew need to keep the pressure on him and let the Conservatives do the rest. Cameron was in the news the other day and was commenting on the stuff Boris was getting away with, Labour have to drive home the sleaze and party stuff, the opinion polls and electorate bending the ears of the Conservative MP’s will do the rest.

I don’t think we’ve seen the last of these leaks.

I suspect the next big sleazefest may well be the Covid PPE contracts to the chums.

I don’t agree with that romping home in the last GE because of his charm and persona.
Most of it was down to Brexit and that cuñt Corbyn.

Fair points about Brexit and Corbyn. I think some people like Boris because they think he’s a laugh and all that, but the guy’s a lying clown and to make it worse he’s running the country.

I expect there’ll be ructions in the morning. The likes of JRM and Brandon Lewis defending the indefensible, if cops had done what Boris did they’d be out on their ear.

Watch the seniority of the Conservatives they nominate for this morning's TV and radio shows.

If they are cabinet ministers, then he might survive for a few months. If they are nonentities, or "we asked but no-one was available", then he's toast.

One thing's for sure, it won't be Rishi Sunak. Or Theresa May.

Tense days ahead as Boris
Johnson waits to find out if inquiry
ordered by Boris Johnson finds
that Boris Johnson attended a
party at Boris Johnson's house.

I suppose the reason why this is so convincing is because it's not funny and no-one has ever heard of her, and yet she still makes more sense than Cabinet Minister William Rees Mogg.

Taxi for Boris!

I'm not so sure. In a way, this is better PR for Boris. He clearly wasn't there, he can prove he was at Chequers.
Watch his arse kissers do the media rounds this morning and say that the no. 10 staff are obviously out of control, the prime minister needs to make changes amongst them, blah, blah, blah. A few junior people will be lined up as fall guys, then the Spaffer will hunker down and hope the storm will pass.

Sadly this is the most likely scenario

How the hell the buffoon is still PM is beyond me but there is nothing like power to corrupt or is that corruption to power

Seriously had to watch that 3 times. Fck my eyes n ears.

First time I watched it, I was just confused (which is probably her intention), the second time I listened more carefully and was just open mouthed. People vote for her to be part of a government that runs a country of 66 million people when she shouldn't be in charge of a lettuce.

The fact that that interview was believable (I thought it was real too at first) says it all about the kinds of BS answers politicians give these days.

The more I watch the collective buffoonery of this government, the closer it resembles the scripts of "The Thick of It".

If these idiots at the helm spent more time actually doing something, actually trying to make things better rather than running round attempting to cover their sorry ar*es after yet another clusterfcuk of cock ups the country would be in a far better place.

If Johnson has any "skill" at all, it's his ability to debate that he probably learned in the hallowed halls of Eton and Oxford. He seems to have no other recognisable ability. I read once that Johnson always wanted to be PM, he always wanted history to show he'd been PM, he just didn't really want to do the bit in the middle.

Very true. In my defence, I was flicking through messages on here on my tablet while watching something on TV so wasn't paying full attention to either!

Boris has admitted that he has been a member of the Conservatives for many years but he had no idea that it was a party.

Classic Tory deflection and obfuscation today as their dirty PR machine grinds into gear and dredges up a photo taken through a window of Keir Starmer drinking a bottle of beer during a working lunch in a constituency office.
Utterly pathetic, but it'll take in a number of their brain dead supporters "What about Labour then, blah, blah, blah?"

Not a surprise. Have a look at what the Nazis did to neutral and left leaning media in Germany in 1933. You can't allow media free speech criticising your despicable policies.....
