According to Hull's ex owner.
He reckons only teams in the lower league should be called City as it sounds local, unlike the global image Premier League Teams should be going for.
Maybe someone should tell Manchester City ...

I can see how marketing guys prefer catchy names, as lots of American clubs in various sports do, but ultimately it is how the teams perform that drives how well merchandising and franchising does.
The likes of Man Utd, Celtic, Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal and many others do well enough commercially without silly tags being added to their title.
On a different note, i see the Bohemians of Dublin are releasing an away kit featuring Bob Marley, commemorating his concert at their ground ?
A nice one for the collectors ?

To be fair, when they do manage to get there, they are very considerate in not outstaying their welcome by being there for too long.

No
I do reckon they should be allowed in the prem until they become the first team to go through the season , unbeatable, with the opposite to Arsenals record.

Beaten in every game, finishing with an unbeatable record low number of points :D

Then they can keep going to the League of Wales
