I can only imagine the frustration for both you and your wife.Another week has passed and, despite the admin manager or whatever she likes to call herself, being caught on camera with her head in hands about not paying it, still has not got on to her system to click authorise payment. Wife has sent friendly Email reminders and the senior matron has also ignored it.
True to form though, a clinic was cancelled and the senior matron was on it in a jiffy only to find out that it was someone else responsible for the cancellation.
Makes me angry but I'm not allowed to march down to that hospital to say my piece
Do they work in the same building? It is maddening because it is not the employer with-holding payment it is one person who can't be fucked to tick off the expense.
That is the approach that I have suggested but my wife has a very busy job and sees possibly 16 patients a day and often has no lunch. The other female then may not be working in Singleton as when she can free up some time.Do they work in the same building?
I'd be tempted to approach and ask she approves the expense whilst I waited.
Time to escalate it? Time for the union to earn their subscription.Another week has passed and, despite the admin manager or whatever she likes to call herself, being caught on camera with her head in hands about not paying it, still has not got on to her system to click authorise payment. It really is pathetic. That is the approach that I have suggested but my wife has a very busy job and sees possibly 16 patients a day and often has no lunch. The other female then may not be working in Singleton as when she can free up some time.
I'm too militant and I would be marching down to her office and saying exactly that (well in my head anyway)
One of the senior consultants spoke with the admin manager about it today and she blatantly lied saying it was the nation's fault. Obvs my wife just pulled up the claim and showed it to the senior consultant where it states waiting approval by...... yes the admin manager. It is farcical 21st of May that claim has been queued sinceIt really is pathetic.
Maybe coming from it from a different angle, is the sign off system covered by a I.T. Help desk?
If so maybe trying to raise a ticket politely saying that it's been all this time and if there was a system problem.
They'll most likely day there isn't a problem but might kick a response that another area is looking at it.
Progress? Hurrah! An employee shouldn’t have to fight this fight. It will also spur me on to clear my own backlog of so far unclaimed expenses. Some progress on the claim. The manager and MBH had a "sit down" and the manager still denied having anything to do with it even with the evidence in front of her. My wife was given access to the manager's PC and went through it and showed her exactly where to look and voila. The manager kind of accepted resposibility and a half hearted apology. The next bit was hilarious if it wasn't so bad. She couldn't click off the expense because she didn't her credentials were wrong.
She has emailed IT to resolve this so we may see the cash reimbursed.
I'm not holding my breathe as there is another person who could now mess this up.
And as a footnote, she has now, in best management style - put a massive spoke in MBH's wheels of her development.

Ask whoever your local MS is to write to the relevant health minister. Usually works.HaHaHa lol
So.......
2 and a half weeks later, nothing and once again, the Admin service delivery manage has "gone in to hiding" and not responding to my wife's emails and messages.
A new person who also got involved, is now also not responding to messages and she shares an office with the admin manager.
The guys I work with go nuts if there expenses of 20 quid aren't paid in a month. This is a few hundred quid and will be a year in a couple of months time.
I'm far more militant and would have refused to work until it was paid.
This service manager is on in excess of 60K and can't sort fukall - The Health Minister should come out of the Gravy Train and give her a good metaphorical spanking
