A few years back took out a contract with O2, I haggled a bit and settled on a very reasonable 5 notes a month for unlimited data etc etc. Since then my bill has risen to over 9 quid, anyhoo, received an email last week to say it was going up by 40% next April plus whatever inflation rises apply, which mean I'll end paying the thick end of 15 quid, needless to say, they can fvck right off, so going to change networks asap. What your recommendations peeps. Anyone with Honest?

I like giff gaff, they haven’t changed my wife’s rate for 5 years, it’s still £6 a month.

I’m also with O2, it was £7, now £10 and soon £12.50. Just bandits. I’m going to switch now as no penalties when they increase mid contract by more than they say at the start. Why the ridiculous regulator didn’t ban mid contract changes I don’t know. A contract should be a contract for its full term. Most people won’t leave and the providers know this.

Since when have any of the regulators been on the side of the customer?

Monthly contract with Talkmobile, £7.50 for unlimited calls and 60GB of data.

Some belting deals on U Switch all the time. I was with Lebara for a couple of years, pennies I was paying with them.

That’s a really good deal. I’m with also with them, but I’m on 25gb for £6.95 which is still decent.

Once they agree a contract that should be it. Maybe an inflationary rise, but no more than that at the absolute most.

I think I’ve only been with these a year or so, had the deal from U Switch, which are always better than going straight to the provider in my experience.

Done USwitch. Got cracking deal for my usage. Less than half the price of O2 banditry for less. Thanks NJ 👍

F**k you O2

The same applies to broadband. Recently did a comparison site driven switch and got £160 gift card on the back of it. And car insurance. And house insurance.
