O2 price rises

Forgot to mention this earlier, if you’re looking for a new deal it’s well worth checking out the customer service reviews before committing. Some companies mainly offer automated Bot type services which was a deal breaker for me.

We've got our BB with EE and I've got four sim only deals with unlimited texts and Data for for £53.00 (that's for the sims) which is the cheapest I can find. The signal is pretty decent in most places, including the stadium.

I pay £5 for 5GB with Lebara. It's been flawless so far (approx five months in).

Lebara uses the Vodafone network.

Apparently users of GiffGaff / Lebara / any other cheapy will get a degraded service if there are lots of (for example) O2 customers trying to connect to the same mast. I've no experience of this, but that's apparently the case.

We are with EE for BB inc a landline. I pay 43 notes a month for that, the service is excellent, been with them since the Freeserve days.

They're the best of a bad bunch at the moment, can't complain about the price. The customer service can be hit and miss now and again, not that I've had to call them often.

I've been with ID Mobile for over 6 years, rolling monthly contract, 10 Gb (which rolls over if not used), unlimited call/texts. £7 monthly which hasn't gone up since day 1. Coverage has never been a problem either (down here in Portsmouth). I would never go back to getting a 24/36 months contract (with phone) again. I think it's a scam as they can/do just put the bills up.

I have just taken a Vodafone contract, two years at £24 per month, and with a £160 Tesco gift card thrown in.

We were with Tiscali then Tinyworld for yonks and it was dirt cheap. But we had some intermittent issues with connectivity even when we upgraded to their fibre offering. Dealing with their call centres used to boil my piss because of 1) their insistence on adhering to a moronic call script and 2) their lack of interest in investigating / providing a permanent fix.

Eventually we switched to BT fibre. It's a few quid more (£33 I think) but we've had no issues so far and if we do then at least the support centre is onshore, which means my wife is prepared to take a turn calling them should the need arise.

For years I carried two separate phones - one for business and a separate personal one. I'd had enough so got rid of both, bought a Samsung A15 5G from Argos for £179 and a £10 per month pay as you go 100GB data & free calls (inc roaming), uploaded Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Teams for business, and haven't looked back.

This means I have my own phone for work and pleasure which isn't monitored by any business IT systems, so, in theory, I can do whatever I want
...

A few years back took out a contract with O2, I haggled a bit and settled on a very reasonable 5 notes a month for unlimited data etc etc. Since then my bill has risen to over 9 quid, anyhoo, received an email last week to say it was going up by 40% next April plus whatever inflation rises apply, which mean I'll end paying the thick end of 15 quid, needless to say, they can fvck right off, so going to change networks asap. What your recommendations peeps. Anyone with Honest?

Let us know if you get it cheaper. £15 a month with unlimited data seems comparatively inexpensive to me.

Your absolutely right, I've messed up there. Its unlimited texts and 6gig of data, sorry about that.
