Ok, I’ll say it.

🤣
He posts whilst trying to bait posters!

Do as I say and all that 🙈
Give it rest, you absolute blouse.

You’re more committed to my posts than I am, might be time to take a day off.

No, we haven't got the players to maintain the gegenpress for 90 minutes. Matos is a disciple of Klopp but Klopp had Salah, Mane and Firminho as an attacking force.
What it has done is see us move the ball quicker and disrupt the opposition and stop them playing their game.
Talking to Southampton fans after the game they reckoned that was as tough a game as they've had on their long unbeaten run.
We need a deeper squad to maintain the press for 90 minutes with substitutes who are at the same level as those they replace.
We probably can't afford the squad to do that but we are what we are and we're a competitive mid table Championship team.
We're probably going to have to sell at least one to buy a few more who can play Matos' tactics for the full game.
Wouldn't the players be better conserving some of that energy so that when they get the ball they have sufficient stamina to do something with it. We have the top scorer in the championship who can generally get a goal out of nothing, yet the last 2 home games he's been replaced early in the second half because he's knackered chasing lost causes. As we saw yesterday good teams just pass the ball around you at the back and get out of trouble without any hassle. Think what a boost that gave them to see Vipotnik going off. Widell is another one, had a brilliant first half yesterday, but substituted early again because he's knackered. Surely he's more use to us playing 90 mins instead of running around aimlessly for a good part of the game.

Hallelujah brother you’ve been saved.

Vipotnik has been replaced because we've needed to try something different up top.

Some people haven’t got a clue, replacing a player with over twenty goals to his name to try something different….hilarious.

The way some posters describe yesterday's game you'd think it was a repeat of the Coventry match and we were beaten by a team that barely broke a sweat, rather than a team that should have been a man and two goals down in the second half, who also needed a 90th minute goal to scrape a win while coming into the game on an 18 game unbeaten run...

Apart from that …what have the Romans ever done for us.

Anyone who expresses the opinion that we played better football under Sheehan than we are now under Matos should probably be dismissed as either an idiot or a troll. Possibly both.
And anyone who isn’t capable of reading a post properly ( CARETAKER PERIOD ) shouldn’t be taken seriously either butt.

Matos is doing ok.
I genuinely believe that his style and way of playing is heavily dependent on wingers who have a goal threat.
Slate will be clean for him next season though.

Theres obviously limitations with our play under Matos, but in fairness he doesn't have wingers and we are safe.

So he achieved his first objective (survival), but things have to improve again next season. Playing well against promotion contenders but getting little from the game is tiresome now.

I dont think its going to be easy to progress forward again though, the accounts dont make great reading and replacing weak links in central defence and out wide will not cheap.

He and the club need to be aware and learn from the Sheehan situation.
