• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

We also waste very little. It’s sometimes like Ready Steady Cook here on the night before we shop.

The rice thing is serious though. I ate ‘fridge’ rice on the first day of France 98, and that quickly became my ‘pass’ to watch most of the first two weeks from bed.

Hash browns are stinking. Have to be in the mood/hungover for a full English. Omelettes most days filled with whatever leftovers are the fridge, probably the easiest thing in the world to cook and stretches further than scrambled or boiled eggs. At the risk of sounding like a woke liberal leftie you can’t beat smoked salmon and eggs with a bit of guac.
I won't eat anything smoked 🤮

For me, I like:
3 Bacon - smoked
2 Cumberland Sausage
Scrambled Egg (I can only eat eggs scrambled or omelette)
Hash Browns
Beans
Mushrooms
Toast(White bloomer)

I am sure that the eggs are safe. It’s the look of runny runny scrambled egg that puts me off. A nice soft boiled yolk is fine, but runny scrambled egg is a no-no.

Can we see your ten item platter please?
2 Bacon
2 Sausage
1 Egg
Fried Potatoes
Mushrooms
Black Pudding
Baked Beans or fresh tomatoes fried.
Fried Bread.

Preferably the sausages to be fresh as well,

A big shout out for fried bread 👏🏽

Get your cholesterol checked , swap Fried Bread for Toast its its not perfect, but its a healthier than Fried Bread.
That’s very true, Max. We’ve joked a little about the humble fry up and the choice of egg, but too much of this ain’t a good thing. Everything in moderation.

Mushroom Omelette and half a tin of tomato's with plenty of white pepper and a squirt of HP sauce for lunch today with a slice of toast off a bloomer, bloody lovely.

Eleven item fry up this morning, one of which was a fried slice. Cut backs must start tomorrow.

Hadn’t had a brekkie for months, possibly over a year but after reading this I had to have one on Friday. Lovely it was too.
