Reading through that article, my first thought was that it's an obscene amount of money for one person to earn. Ā£1.2m a day? Making more than double the profits of the company?
But then she's apparently a big philanthropist, Bet365 didn't lay anyone off during the pandemic and didn't avail themselves of the furlough scheme, despite profits falling by 74% with so much sport cancelled.
Maybe it's just a good PR set-up, but it makes it difficult to get too wound up about it.
