Moderately encouraging news that the events at Orgreave will finally be looked into. As per usual, doubtful anyone of rank in the police force will face any repercussions, but nice to think that some scumbags enjoying a day out cracking skulls may be feeling a little nervous this morning.

I remember an ex-rozzer saying on Planetswans that he thoroughly enjoyed cracking skulls of striking miners at Orgreave.
I believe it was the Merseyside Constabulary.

Many witnesses from Orgreave have said the Conservatives didn't want the inquiry - because of the involvement of military personnel, illegally masquerading as police officers.

I’m sure most of his stories are a figment of his own imagination. If you add up his claims he’s had more dramas than Bob Cryer.

You’re probably right but guilty people will always try to justify their wrong doing.
What happened to those miners was an utter disgrace.
