• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Looks like clubs are being put off by the fee which is understandable. However if it ends up being a loan, Liverpool will still want a sizeable loan fee up front which will be way more than what we could afford.

I was the same as you Phil, had a sneaky feeling he would end up here, as I have no doubts this is the move he wanted as he doesn't want to leave Liverpool permanently and knows he will play every minute down here, but as soon as Liverpool turned their attention on making cash on him rather than bringing him on as a player, we were out.

I'm no expert here but if Ollie Watkins moved for 33M after a 25 goal season with Brentford at 24 years old, then I can't see why a 20 year old Brewster couldn't leave for the same amount if he matched that tally spending another season down here on loan, surely Liverpool ain't that desperate for money are they?

It's a shame it looks like he isn't coming back here but we move on, but sadly it looks like we may have been waiting for an answer regarding Brewster and now we're desperately looking for a striker.

They are owned by yanks, they want money for him ASAP because they don’t believe he will ever good enough for their first team.

Agree with last paragraph, seems our pursuit has set us back big time.

Don't believe the hype, he is not that good.

He's 20 years old and got 1 in 2 for every game played in his first taste of professional football, don't think that's bad going is it?

It's not that bad going but 4-5 months in the championship doesn't make him worth £20m+ IMO. he needs another season whether it's with us or someone else so he can work on his all round game.
