• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Being serious mind I saw Cheap Trick there in 2018 and it was a complete sell out.
It’s frightening having that many people in there.

Really? Excellent. McCartney's voice is excellent isn't it, given his age. First band I got into, the Beatles, had a record player and the red 62-66 (a bit naff), and the far better blue 67-70 double albums for Crimbo. Progressed to wings et al at 11 years of age. Music forges us eh Darran.

Ooo still have mine, along with loads of others, including a warped (but beautiful) Tubular Bells album I bought in Soho in 1974 when I was 11 lol! We went on a school trip to watch Jesus Christ Superstar - me and my mate headed for Soho - my god the things we saw at 11. Our Price records it was, bought a lovely Donovan album too. Got them all still. Happy memories Dar.

Fantastic times.

Tell you another thing too if you ever go up to Liverpool go in the Hard Days Night Hotel and have a look at the artwork all painted by Shannon MacDonald the worlds greatest Beatles artist.
Here she is with my wife in front of one of her paintings she was at two Cheap Trick gigs with us.
