• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Anyone fancy revealing what he's done? Via PM of course!

Maybe now we will get Darling and Cabango extensions? Oh wait a minute, this is Swansea who always leave everything to the last minute. And leave contracts to go into their final year. 😂 Joking aside, Cabango has if ups and downs and Darling had gotten much better, it makes all sense in the world to pay that little more. I fear or worry we are looking at Nelson Abbey at the back in the future. Alot of promise but didn't give confidence in his performance a while back. I do like Pederson and though been hit and miss in his early days think has come on better under Williams and did well before his injury.
.

Likes signing players for the women’s team I heard 😉 no but in all seriousness thanks for wasting huge amounts of money on shite.

Watson probably didn't want the imminent forum of 100 Jack's quizzing him over his recent failed player deals. He looked quite shocked last time.

Sadly Coleman will use this to cover his own tracks and throw Watson under the bus..

The way he was spoken to in the previous forum was disgusting, bunch of bully boys thinking they're hard making personal digs over some football ffs

To be fair and I don't condone some of the things that were said but he brought alot of the stuff on himself as did Coleman. The guys higher up should have orotected him from the situation, it was so bad what he done in that summer window last year that actions should have been taken to not have allowed Watson to be in that situation in the fans forum.

Last summer's failure has had massive repercussions for this summer's transfer dealings and the contract situations of one or 2 players.
Last summer has basically put 2 hands tied behind our back rather than 1 in the previous few seasons.

Possibly but to do it in a public forum where he can't really avoid/deflect is really poor form. By all means criticise the football side but some of the stuff that was said to him and Coleman was not good

It shouldn't have happened but it should have been dealt with before hand by the powers that be.
Passions were running high with people who support and hold the club close to their heart, rightly or wrongly they are going to say things that shouldnt have been said.

He was an absolute disaster for Swansea, linked to the Duff hiring and also masterminded that 2023 Summer window. The saddest thing though is that we'll likely replace him with someone who'll do worse, that seems to be the "Swansea Way" now.
