• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

But he's in the public eye...politicians historics are brought up going back further than 9 years, doubt you disagree with that? Some even lose their jobs, they certainly get bad publicity over it...

This could happen in all walks of life. So important kids are educated on this. It will effect Thier jobs in the future. Politicians deserve everything they get though f@#k them 🤣🤣

Ridiculous when the leader of the UK and wannabe world bringer of world peace gets away with, gay men 'tank-topped bumboys' and black people 'piccaninnies' with 'watermelon smiles.

There surely has to be some kind of amnesty period for how long someone can be held accountable for stupid shit they posted online when they were like 14 and didn't have the sense to know better.

I remember back like 28 or so years ago when I was 11 and at a youth club, impressionable minds picked up on calling black people by the N word. An older best friend soon enough set me straight on just how terrible it was and I never did it again, but there is so much difference nowadays between when that kind of thing used to happen in private versus the very public world of social media now.

Personally I feel that social media is the devil but unfortunately is indispensable for keeping in touch with some people these days. However the stories of people who are getting lives and careers ruined for something dumb they did like 10+ years ago before they grew up mentally is completely unfair in my opinion.
