Piroe again!

Unpopular opinion but no good for us. We are too short in other areas and need the money desperately to reinvest a small chunk of it back into squad.

I would feel more comfortable with that when we see Yates/Cullen/Thomas/Morgan start to find the net on a regular basis without him once the season begins

Morgan, as in Iwan? I’d be forgetting him about him he won’t be here long term.

We’ll need to replace piroe with the money, plus 2 more id say. Walsh/Allen injured again by the looks, short in there, still no LWB to try snd replace the goal contributions from Manning. Loans will go so far but we need money to do most of it.

Who wants a player who was in the Cardiff end for the derby.
Shows where his loyaltys lie

Yeah I may be getting older and grumpier, but that doesn’t sit well with me either.

Toshack was a staunch bluebird.. his first choice before Swansea was Cardiff.. plus the amount of players who played for both, what about Cabango scoring a 99th minute winner against his hometown club..

That’s fair enough, but in the away end when they are playing against us, who he plays for? Not sure about that.

It's amazing to me that grown men get caught up in the badge kissing pantomime nonsense and think players (and coaches) treat clubs the same way fans do. It literally doesn't matter who any of the kids support in their spare time. If they're good enough we want to keep them. "Loyalty" only lasts as long as it takes for a better career opportunity to arise, and rightly so.

There's so much travel between Swansea and Cardiff at academy level. Half our best talents were on their books at some point and most of their recent products are from the Swansea area. Same all over the UK regardless of how fierce the supporter rivalries may be.

This. Curt and Robbie played superbly for them at max effort. Tosh would have been there not here like a shot if they hadn’t been so stupid in 1977. It’s simply not an issue for players other than as a pantomime. It’s time we all mellowed out, except on match day, especially as we are so clearly superior, probably for our lifetimes, the hopeless cunts. He can cheer for who he likes as long as he does it for us on the pitch while he’s our player.

With respect Jasper no player on our books should be in the Cardiff end whilst playing for us.

Can do what he likes when he goes but shows a total lack of respect to fans and his fellow players.

I genuinely don't think it matters, the club would be idiotic to make any decisions over the player's future with that in mind.

Its got to be getting close to calling time on Walsh and Allen, they both comeback and play maybe half a dozen games then out for 6/10 games again, we can't continue to carry players like that, Allen has earnt his stripes for us but Walsh for all his endeavour and ability hasn't due to his countless injuries, not his fault granted, but there has to be a cut off point.

Yep, this 100% for me.

You always see people talking about waiting for the first domino to fall. If Hojland moves to Man United for example, they've been linked to Piroe as a potential replacement. Or perhaps they'll sign someone else and that team will want Piroe. I just hope we have our target/targets lined up and ready to move quickly if it does happen late in the window.

I'm pretty impressed with the summer so far. On paper at least.

Hojland to Utd is getting closer apparently
