With his abysmal start to the season so far, firstly what is he now worth post first season?
Secondly, would you keep him and rely on us not bringing anyone else in or offload him to bring in some fresh faces?

If we can sell him for 15M and gurantee that buys us a RWB ST & CAM then best do it before next season.

Think we'll realistically get 15m now? I would have said definitely at the start of the window, just hope interested parties didn't watch last night or Saturday's games.

Desperate to sign a RWB, CM/CAM and would need a ST replacement for him if he does go. This does seem like it's the only logical way this could happen.

I posted after the Rotherham game that he did seem off the pace.
It could be for many reasons, but at the moment I say keep and hope his overall game picks up.

He has more to offer unless he's a one season wonder,

On the other hand, we need money to strengthen other positions, but a 20 goal season player is hard to replace

I reckon that Piroe wants to stay and is off the pace so that no-one will come in for him.
;)

I reckon it would be between £10-12 million now.

I probably would sell.

If we had any offers anywhere near 10m he'd be gone by now. Any potential buying clubs will be seeing what we are seeing now, absolutely nothing. Expect some late speculative bids of 3 to 5m and expect us to seriously consider them.

I'm not saying that's right, but with him not signing a new contract, I think we'd take what we can, given that his career was hardly stellar until last years heroics. I think he'll come good if he stays, but his transfer value will decline anyway as his contract runs down. Would he sign a new one if reality bites and no one wants him...would we offer anything like we would have before...is he happy here anyway? Lots of questions. The main one at the moment is, was he a total flash in the pan?

Sell , it defies logic to think he would want to stay , if he does you would hope he puts his disappointment to one side and gives a hundred percent , but not all players are like harry Kane

Well talking to ‘someone’ last night I get the impression we want him gone asap for as much money as possible so we can bring in two or three players out of that money.
Not exactly mind blowing news I know I’m just saying what I grasped out of a conversation I had.

He'll know that too, and he'll want out. That'll be built into his performances as it's in his head.

That is our current plan. Buy low sell high, cover budget hole, try and place again on the cheap.

No big surprise if he goes, it's all about replacement players.

He has been poor this season. The withdrawn role doesn’t suit him much especially because every time he plays a pass backwards he gives it away and puts us under pressure. He’s trying worldies all the time when there are better options as well.

His head appears to have gone so he needs to go with it.

So just so I understand it, we want to sell him because we need the money. He knows that so his commitment to Swans is diminished. We see that and understand it but keep playing him so that he stays visible in the shop window and we maximise his price. Meanwhile we're essentially carrying him. Have I got that right? I don't know the bloke personally of course and I don't want to do him a disservice, but would you be fully committed to your job if you knew your boss wanted rid of you?
