• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Mrs is away in London with junior, so I’ll have some peace and quiet.

I'm going to watch an episode of Traitors and then I'm going to eat pizza.

Mrs Bear will be right by my side. But no hanky panky cos her hip has given up the ghost. Sad face.

Just got back from a relative’s funeral so a quiet night at home.

Well, I was going to whisk my wife off to a romantic weekend away in Paris, but I found out she has a pottery class booked in Killay tonight. 🤦

Chippy tea. She’s out tomorrow with her mates. Boys day in with me and the dog. I’ll cope.

I had this for tea tonight, could have had a takeaway, but I settled for this.. https://products.fifecreamery.co.uk/frozen-mayflower-chicken-mushroom-12x227g The sauce is absolutely beautiful. Only ever seen it in farm foods, but it's bloody lovely.

Edit: On the subject of Valentines, and love is in the air, and smoochy songs, I just walked in the front room, and the missis is watching Luther Vandross in concert, he is awesome..

Safe travels and good luck for tomorrow, sounds like you might need it 😉
Got home to a somewhat frosty atmosphere. Wife went to bed an hour ago so I’m going to plan tomorrows strategy over a bottle of Trapiche.

You’re still enjoying that FF stuff then?

Yeah I am, The brand is Mayflower, but they sell it at farm foods.

For me, it beats the local deliveries all day long. The missus and the youngest had a delivery, pizza and kebab, cost was 26 quid, mine was about £2.30, if I include the air fryer chips.

Give it a try Coops, the sauce is absolutely awesome.

Edit: Just to add, I'm sure its only £1.89, so its definitely worth a crack, if you are passing there..

I don’t remember if I tried it after you mentioning it last time. I’m normally using the Mayflower powder mix when I knock up a Chinese curry, that’s also very good.

£26 for takeaway pizza is just scandalous. Winds up me when I see my own kids do it, I end up being grumpy and telling them to get down to Asda for a £4 design your own, which frankly is a much better pizza.

This is all a bit mushy, Valentines day is the 10th anniversary of us being together. It's the first day we met up 10 years ago in Bath, we'd been talking forb6 months, we stayed at Bailbrook house, a posh country hotel(bloody exspensive). So for Christmas I gave her an envelope with details of a booking for us to go back there for a few nights on Valentines day.

Got to say the chefs Valentines menu was stunning, cheapest bottle of wine £32!
