We're definitely in the relegation fight, make no mistake, we're likelier to go down than go up.. I think points deductions and Peterborough being sh*te might save us

Skip, we’re going to be nowhere near that mun. 12th or 13th probably.

Mid table but playing better football with a strong young squad will do me for now, i saw some great passing and also quick forward passes tonight for a change, a little more pace out wide, and a bit more support up front this window should see us grow as a good team.

thats cos we find good players STID, nothing wrong with that!!

Nothing wrong indeed.
Except that hopefully by the end of this window we will have IMHO a strong squad capable of making a good stab at the play offs.
Come May, if we are unsuccessful, quite a few of that team will be gone and RM will have to start again.

We would need an incredible run to get near the playoffs. That would mean winning games and scoring goals. We have won 1 of our last 7.Scored 2 in our last 3. I just don't see it. We need to learn from this season and hope for better next season.

We’re not in a relegation battle and we’re not in a playoff battle either. Some encouraging signs this week but still think top 10 is the best we can hope for.

We're 12 points off 6th having played 3 games less and 12 points above 22nd, having played 1 game more.

Only a real optimist would think we have a shot at the playoffs, but only the most negative and unrealistic person would think we're in a relegation fight.

I'd put a few quid on us being closer to 6th than 22nd at the end of the season, around 12th-14th seems likely.

We’re not getting near the Play Offs don’t do it to yourselves. We’ll be lucky to finish 10th.

If we finish 10th with a season of complete rebuild/postponements and covid then that’s good going imo.

This team are no where near play off form at the moment... Mid table bilge at best unfortunately. Martin gets this season as a free hit, next season he will have to progress. Time will tell.

I think our ceiling this year is something like 9th, but I’d be pleasantly surprised if we achieved that. Top half is a realistic target but I think we’ll end the season somewhere around 12th-14th.

I think we’re ok in terms of relegation, I’m still looking down more than looking up at the moment but the table is a bit unrepresentative due to the disparity in games played.

As I said a couple of weeks ago, I’ve written this season off in terms of league position, as long as we avoid relegation...but I want to see some progress. Jury is still out for me but I’m willing to persevere at the moment.

🤣. And Cardiff will be lucky to finish 21st.

Don't think we're going to the playoffs, but I tell you what, it's ten times more likely of happening than going down. QPR were on 4 wins on the bounce, 5 if you include the cup, and Loftus road is hardly conducive to Martin's style of play, being a glorified postage stamp. If you could watch that or any of the previous two matches and still think we're going down, I suggest you lift your head up from studying the league table on your phone and watch the bleeding game. Either that, or stop skipping past the games played column when you look at the league table.

It's weird and a bit frustrating because it feels like we are right on the edge of being a really good team but it's just not clicking at the moment or we are missing just one or two pieces of the jigsaw in order to be like the top teams in this division.

I was always of the opinion that we needed to get to January with a shot of going for the playoffs, and then whatever business we did would determine how far we could push.

It's now Jan 26, and we still have zero pace and Korey Smith playing CAM.
