Posting images

Am I right in assuming some of you use a html to bbcode converter, before posting images.

Just make sure the image ends in either .jpg or .png or .gif. Sometimes websites will render images that you are unable to embed anywhere so they will not have the .jpg/.png or .gif suffixes, instead, they will have characters like % at the end or a set of numers. These are usually compressed images rendered by the site.
