They are a good team but a few weeks back many thought Norwich would be running away with the league and now look at the table - if us and Brentford win our games in hand they will be 3rd.

They're good but they aren't invincible and with 20 games to go there are plenty of twists and turns ahead etc etc
Agreed. Gonna be a question of who blinks first. Whilst Brentford are banging em in atm, and Norwich have had a stutter, we are quietly going about our business....looking consistent. At this stage I'd say one of the other 2 ( or both) are likely to blow up before us.

We just need to concentrate on ourselves.

There will be blips along the way, teams will have a bad run and others will take advantage. We must focus on us and keeping our concentration on and off the field.... Keep the shape, keep strong and keep the faith 💪

Proper Steve Cooper answer.

You’re right of course, Daps.

Brentford certainly on a hot streak at the moment. Shows what can happen if you don't take your chances against them.

Poor results today, but daps is right. We need to do it for ourselves.

I guess the good thing about Boro losing and Stoke not winning is that our gap to seventh is 13 points with a game in hand, which is huge.

That is huge at this stage of the season.

Is there anywhere to see last season's table after 27 games?

Listening to the pundits on SSN it would seem Raya has had a stormer and Boro have missed a few sitters. Brentford are hitting them on the break, but it seems that if you are able to convert your chances they are vulnerable.

I still get annoyed over the dodgy pen at Bristol City and not being allowed the goal v Wednesday at home. We should be top. Bloody refs.

Thank you, an interesting look when you consider we have 53 points and will be 3rd this evening - same as West Brom who were top last season with the top 2 having pulled clear. The Top 3 have now got airspace between them and 4th

Does that site you posted it from let you just choose when you want to see it? Will be interesting to keep comparisons running as the season unfolds

Your old website does just that. You can adjust the date parameters in the top right

Yep. It gives you every match day results and standings for past few years!

So this weekends winners are us, Brentford and Bournemouth. Norwich, Reading and Watford drop points. That's not too shabby

As someone just said, we just need to worry about ourselves and keep winning

Just availed myself of the 4/1 on us to win the title.
Seemed generous I thought.

3rd, 2pts behind top or 1pt behind 2nd at best if we win our game in hand, we don't concede easy, lets enjoy it.

Not all poor results Monmouth - personally, I'm happy that Cardiff beat Bristol City, because it almost eliminates Brizzle's chances of getting into the play-offs but doesn't help Cardiff very much. Cardiff were never going to be relegated.
