• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Get the fuck in. Where are the beauts who were bending over backwards to engrave Brentford's name on the Championship trophy already?

Fuck your doom mongering and get behind our boys

A wonderful post sir, and I agree, quite a few on here are more than eager to lube thier bumholes up whenever Brentford win a game.

Positive mental attitude mate, confidence breeds confidence and our players need to believe they are the best in the league, and I think they do. All this 'we're playing for second' was utterly hideous to read

BELIEVE.

Well that is a turn up for the books,
Caught the last 20 mins or so.
The Barnsley pressing game was top drawer. Every time Brentford had the ball there were three yellow shirts round them.
Also the 'they shall not pass' attitude resulting in 3 times as many fouls.
Think we showed them too much respect. Teams need to go for it and rough them up and not sit back to contain.
This result probably negated all the bad ones yesterday. Top two positions now in our hands I believe.
It'll twist and turn of course, but right now the situation provides its own motivation for us, in that we win both games and we go top. Cooper will be drumming that into them constantly. Our sole objective is to win this league.
Indeed. If, and it is a big 'if', we win those two games then a big gap opens up between the top 3 teams and the rest.

QPR away next for them, is that a derby match? QPR have had more time to rest with their match postponed over the weekend and have picked up some decent results, they have lost 1 in 7 league games.

yeah their commentators were saying they have a really good record against them.

Qpr due a win.

Brentford have a +5 goal difference advantage on us as it stands. Can we pull it back in our 2 games in hand? I think we can.

Strange isn't it. All of a sudden these 2 games in hand almost seem like an advantage. Had we played them, we may well have fallen short of the 6 points. As it stands now, there's extra incentive to win them, if yawl know what I mean.

Our rivals for promotion will be feeling more pressure than us too, I feel.

Unbelievably close this year in the chasing pack, 3 points between 15th and 7th.

Because of their run, Brentford have had this aura of invincibility. Over the last few weeks, they have conceded more and more and have now lost. We know from last season that they aren't the toughest mentally and now teams know they can be beaten, I don't see them having an easy ride for the next few games.

? Win the games in hand 1-0 and we are ahead of them

There's 17 games after that to worry about goal difference.

My eyes almost popped out at the score, in a sort of Tomas Frank stylie. And as a few have alluded to....will some on here stop arse licking em, gets on my fckn tits.

Valerien Ismael - loved watching him play and he's turning into a good manager. Cool as a cucumber and none of the theatricals of that Danish Klopp wannabe. Well done son.

Oh I don’t know, he was going totally tonto when the ref wasn’t giving them really obvious fouls and got a yellow after pretty obviously directing a few choice words at the ref.

So with tonight's games, will be hoping on Preston, Luton and Bristol City wins
