It’ll soon be the middle of April, then we can start thinking about league positions.

Are the scum bipolar or what? Winning every week before we played them, then they went on a shit losing run and now they’re winning every week again.

New manager bounce. McCarthy is the ideal person for them - limited tactics but knows what he wants his players to do and makes it easy enough for them to understand.

At this rate the second half title will be won by the end of March. Bastards.

Even poor managers can achieve bounces, particularly when they have a squad of players that suits them. Remember how invincible we felt for the first few weeks of Carvahal's tenure? It's when things start going wrong and you're still saying and doing the same things every week, that's when you can come crashing down to earth. McCarthy has shown time and again in his career that he doesn't have all the answers. Let's see what answers he can provide when they come up against Bournemouth and Watford, then we'll have a better idea of what we're up against.

The way we defend corners and the type of chances they create, I think we've got their number all right.

Looking at the table, and the points difference between us and our beloved neighbours at 7th spot (13 points with 2 games in hand), it's highly improbable that we won't at least make the play offs. Looking at the teams (likely) involved, it really wouldn't matter who we played (ie where we finished) if that was our fate. So regarding any other teams, the only ones to ever keep an eye on are those above, not below us now imo, if y'awl get my drift. A nice position to be in, but target is to win the league, as evidently it already is. Exciting times ahead.

Watford v Wayne Rooney's Derby tonight, gotta fancy the Rams to get something out of this, fat boy has got them absolutely flying at the moment 👌

Here we go again. We’ve just got to win again. Anyone that counts them out is a fool. They have only conceded 20 goals themselves and have scraped wins on the back of that just like we have. And they get penalties by the bucketload.

Come on WRs Derby ffs. Take some pressure off us.

Does us no harm to know we have to keep winning, and doesn’t do the nerves of those teams above us any good knowing that everyone around them is winning too.

As I've said before, the only teams of interest are those above, not below. The play off place is virtually secured. Winning the league is the objective.

given that watford are now level on points with brentford having played just one more game, they are definitely still in the automatic race...

would not be surprised if 5 teams are still in with a very good chance by the end of march

watford definitely give me the jitters and we still have to play them away from home

Yep, concerned about Watford. They’ve still got their Premier League squad and are starting to get their sh*t together. They look so much better without Deeney.

It’s going to go down to the wire this season with probably a record number of teams getting around 90 points.
